Delicious food and friendly staff! We ordered a bowl of pho tai, grilled beef with rice and steamed egg, and crispy egg rolls for appetizers. Everything was absolutely delicious! The pho broth was tasty and the meat was tender. Rice was cooked well, and the beef was flavored well as well. I loved how crispy the juicy and egg rolls were! Would recommend this neighborhood spot!

Small free parking lot in the back. It was filled though, so ended up creating my own parking against the wall by the parking lot entrance. This place has been open for so long. I still see one of the ladies that worked there when I was younger, she still looks the same. They have such a vast menu to choose from. Everything we ordered tasted good. The pho noodles are not chewy like I like them, a bit too soft- but there is SO much pho. Portion size is generous. The rice dishes are great. FYI if you order the hot coffee, they bring you the coffee to drip extremely slowly at your table and hot water in a thermos to add to keep dripping more coffee. It's basically a test of patience. You won't get to enjoy your coffee until your meal is about over because it drips so slowly and also it's not hot anymore when it's finally ready. But it's very strong and tasty. Great place for quick meals that caters to the whole family, since they offer so many choices of Vietnamese cuisine (pho, rice, banh mi, bun, beef stew, porridge, banh tam, curry, vegetarian dishes, banh canh, hu tieu, mi etc etc)

Was craving a good bun rieu (Vietnamese tomato-based crab noodle soup) and we usually go to Golden Deli San Gabriel for this but decided to see if there's another local place that offers this dish. I'm used to GD's style presentation and flavor profile for this dish so I'm usually hesitant to try new places. I read somewhere that this place is very similar to GD so why not try it out? We arrived to their private back parking lot (a plus!) a bit after they opened. There's maybe room for 10 or so cars. Upon entering the restaurant, it was very similar to GD's decor but with less buzz and no queue. Immediately, we were handed menus and I looked for bun rieu. Menu is similar to GD both in terms of items offered, down to typeface. Bun rieu arrived after about 10 mins and it looked pretty similar. Taste wise, it was yummy and I added most of the lime and herbs that were given. I was a happy camper! We also had an order of fresh spring rolls which were tasty and rounded out the meal. At the last minute, I also ordered a dessert drink. It was full of coconut strings, red bean, condensed and evaporated milk and jelly strings. Definitely a treat...sweet, indulgent and another one of my many guilty pleasures. Service is fine, very homey and even if there may be a language barrier as some reviewers have mentioned, the staff will be there for you to help make your experience. I hope to be back soon to try other items but I'll probably stick with my trusty bun rieu hahaha

Saigon Flavor has always been a Vietnamese restaurant I frequent throughout the year and after my last time there it has become my top choice. Every time I come here I never have to wait too long for a table and the quality of food is so good. I'm surprised it's not busier. The rice dishes here are my go-to order. I get the stir beef fried with onion over steamed rice and of course, I have to add the baked egg. It's a perfect meal. My cousin have been cravings for curry so she ordered it here and it was delicious. You can have it with noodles or bread. I bet you can even have it with a side of rice. Rice is my preferred way. Viet curry is my favorite curry style. It's more soupy and not too thick but it is packed with flavor. They make it great! In addition in offering rice and curry dishes they also have porridge, soup noodles, thin rice vermicelli, Banh mi, beef stew, red rice with diced filet mignon or Cornish hen, and delicious appetizers. The menu is big. Service is great and always welcoming. Overall, if you're cravings for delicious Vietnamese food this is your place.

Saigon Flavor has been around for decades. I've always enjoyed eating their Bun Rieu. Great customer service from all the times being there. Prices were reasonably affordable and there is a parking lot in the back of the little plaza.

Saigon Flavor has always been a staple for my family whenever we're in search for some comfort food. Yesterday, I took myself on a solo date to get their pho, which has always been my favorite go-to order. What makes this place stand out is how tasty their pho broth is. The soup is clean and clear with a rich taste, creating a perfect combo. I got their no. 9 pho with well-cooked beef, and the beef brisket is so soft. The portion here isn't as large as other places, but it's good enough to keep you full. You can easily find the restaurant. It's tucked by the side of the street with their own parking lot in the back. I never have trouble with parking here. The service is also super fast.

I love coming here for Viet soul food. Saigon Flavor is the sister restaurant to Golden Deli (almost always crowded to the gills). After trying GD a few times I think the food at Saigon Flavor, tastes more homey and delicious. The eggrolls, the shrimp paste, and the bùn here are particularly delicious here also. And love the Cornish game hen over red rice. Service is always prompt and super efficient. Note to self: Wait staff don't usually smile here, but it doesn't mean they're rude or dismissive. They just want to serve you efficiently, and they hope you enjoy the meal. EOY!

We came here on a Thursday evening. Warning - this place closes early! We got here at 7:30pm and were surprised that they were closing at 8pm. They have a parking lot in the back which was nice. We ordered the normal pho with beef and tendons and a side of spring roll (shrimp and pork). The pho was pretty standard, but actually quite delicious. I came here on my friends recommendation that it was a cheaper version of golden deli. I'm not sure I'm sold as I think I would still prefer Golden Deli over Saigon Flavor. The spring roll was a disappointment though. The rice wrap was not fresh to the point where it was chewy. My friend even ended up unwrapping it just to get to the meat. They indirectly shoo'ed us out after 8pm by handing us the check so we quickly wrapped up our meal and left.

Tried a variety of menu items. Everything was pretty tasty. The consensus was that we still want to try other places in the area but may come back one day.
